Women Executives Stronger Together!

LEARN ABOUT US
Who are we?

In 2009, a group of female assistants realized the need to establish a network to unite like-minded women working to climb the Hollywood ranks.  What started as a group of twenty assistants, quickly flourished into a network of two hundred women working in executive positions at studios, networks, agencies, management companies, and production companies across the film, television, and new media industries.

Our mission at HollywoodWEST is to change the culture for working women in the entertainment industry by:

1. Nurturing positive relationships between women

2. Cultivating a culture of kindness and compassion

3. Creating a support network for women facing personal and professional transitional stages in their lives

4. Encouraging work-life balance

5. Finding solutions to improve women’s opportunities

6. Supporting women’s recruitment, retention, and advancement into senior-level position

7. Encouraging family-friendly policies and attitudes

8. Encouraging community involvement and volunteerism

As the word “WEST” in our name suggests, we are passionate believers that:
WOMEN EXECUTIVES ARE STRONGER TOGETHER.
Our Events
Table for 8

TABLEFOR8

TableFor8 is a unique networking event where groups of 8 executives are paired up at restaurants around town.  We announce the event date, collect RSVP’s from our members, and email the details a week before the event. Part of the fun is in not knowing who you will be dining with!

Mixers

MIXERS

Our Mixers offer a unique opportunity for all of our members to meet one other.  This is also a great time for members to bring their professional colleagues along so that we can keep expanding our network.

Speaker Series

SPEAKER SERIES

We occasionally invite experts in different fields to come and speak to the group. Topics in the past have included negotiating for a raise, money management, and individual brand development.  We are always open to suggestions.
